Very tasty food and nice atmosphere!

Warm meals all day on Sundays, good regional cuisine with dishes according to the season. Friendly and very attentive staff. The furnishing is kept in a light, pleasant country style. The selection of small cakes is also of excellent taste and quality. The selection of delicious Veldensteiner beers is also impressive! Even with two parallel families celebrating, the kitchen and the service staff were not overwhelmed! After a hike in the beautiful, autumnal landscape of the surrounding area, we were quickly served our delicious food. We'll be back!

A very nice, quaint and well-kept tavern in the wonderful, quiet Nuremberg countryside. There is outdoor seating in front of the inn and next to it a great playground for children (2 swings, a wooden climbing element, a wooden tower with a ramp and a large trampoline. The service was very friendly, customer-oriented, appreciative, attentive, but also with a loose tongue on the go (in a positive way). The kitchen rightly enjoys an excellent reputation. A great selection of Franconian food. Everything is fresh, juicy and well seasoned. And at really fair prices. We'll definitely be back !!

Yesterday I was invited to dinner in the quiet brook, since I am vegan I had concerns at first, as there is little or no choice in "normal" restaurants. Here I was treated flexibly and very nicely, the food was very good. Many thanks to the team 💚

Very good country cuisine! The restaurant is rustic. The price-performance ratio is right. If regional farmers are supported and fresh ingredients are processed, you are happy to pay a little more! Service was quick and attentive! Gladly again!

As a short foreword, I hate to write reviews, but the visit on yesterday 23.08.2020 in the silent brook was unfortunately such a disaster that I thought take the time to describe how it all went. Exactly at 1:00 p.m. at the ordered time, we were at the reception in the outdoor area the restaurant and were quickly directed to our alleged place in the outside area, the only one not under the protection of the big tree or a parasol. We were very surprised about the space allocated to us because we were never asked whether we would like to sit outside (not even when making a reservation by telephone). No problem We asked briefly whether that could be changed and 5 minutes later we had a seat inside. So far so good. After the ordered drinks were delivered and we waited for the ordered food, I noticed that my drink was a beer instead of a shandy (I know for some people it would have been worse the other way around) also no problem with the service when bringing the first dishes given that the wrong drink was delivered, unfortunately the answer was only an "Oh" no "I'm sorry" or "I'll bring you the right drink right away" - none of the same. And so it went on in the program to the question of whether there would be a high chair, the answer was "Yes, it's back there by the cloakroom", no "Yes there is, I'll bring you right away", There were only two cutlery at the table instead of seven, on request we got the rest of the cutlery but without serviettes, then we were asked what was still missing from the food and answered the question with the corresponding dishes that were still missing. Another 20 minutes passed before one of the two meals was brought. The last meal was again not there and was brought another 15 minutes later, only unfortunately it was not a roast suckling pig, as ordered, but a sauerbraten. When we explained to the waitress that the service was a disaster from start to finish and the manager replied, "The staff is overloaded because all other restaurants in the area have closed due to Corona, the day was perfect and the last thread of patience It's a shame, because there was nothing wrong with the food, at least with what was brought, but unfortunately our mood was down and our wallet was lighter at full price for such a bad service.

Delicious food, plus friendly and fast service. We would love to come back

Very friendly service. The beef roulade was not only very large but above all very tasty. The lavish side salad was fresh and, above all, had a perfect dressing.

A very nice inn with a beer garden in beautiful surroundings. The food was perfect. There is Franconian cuisine, game, fish, salads ... cake is homemade. The service and innkeepers are very nice and attentive. The premises are very clean.

The food is always very tasty and there are also many products from "home on your plate", e.g. regional meat. There are classic dishes, but also something unusual. The curry sauce, for example, is the best I've ever eaten. The service is always very friendly! The gourmet buffet from autumn to spring is particularly recommended.

Food was really great !. Everything delicious! I am totally perplexed that I may give this review lately more often. Definitely worth the trip. In the middle of nowhere and wonderful. If you go out the door it is just quiet and that is totally wonderful. You can also go there great hiking.

Very wonderful! Food as service and also the restaurant. I'll be back here for sure. Twice a year a wild herb tour is offered here followed by a 4-course menu.

Nice little garden in front of the inn. The carp was good and in medium size just right with a very good side salad - especially the potato salad. The leg of lamb was tender and flavorful with green beans and potato gratin. Both absolutely recommendable. The service was quick and friendly.

Simply great. Eat good. Good service. Great location for hikers with beautiful scenery to enjoy.

Excellent meal, meat was perfect, and y vegan daughter could eat a nice lunch as well
